Swaddle Babies<3 Review and GIVEAWAY!!!!

A while back I had the extreme privilege
of receiving a Swaddle Baby
from Etsy artist, Priscilla Rose.
She is an absolute sweetheart
who designed these darling dolls
for her own daughter Sofia; once compliments
(and plenty of requests) began pouring in--
she decided to make them available for the world.
I am so glad she did<3
Let me start by saying that
Pixie is quite smitten with her "Baby".
(I believe that is the name
Pix has officially decided on:)


She comes everywhere with us,
including our recent trip to the beach
where I worried we would never be able to remove
the sand encrusting her tiny stuffed body.
(Swaddle Babies can be spot-cleaned
with a damp cloth,
or if really dirty, give them a "bath":)




When my little girl is sad,
she needs her Swaddle Baby.
When she is sleepy,
she looks until she finds her
before she will lay down.
If we leave the house,
"Baby" must be obtained
and tucked in the car seat with her.
She pats her, tucks her in,
and also sweeps her mass
of pumpkin colored curls to the side
--"fixing" her hair:)




This has all been very new to me
as none of my boys ever had a special stuffed toy
or even a blanket they were attached to.
Attached the little one is though,
(perhaps early maternal instinct:P)
and this sweet and well-crafted
bit of organic loveliness
is a very, very welcome
addition to our home<3

where you can customize your doll.
You get to choose her skin color,
hair color AND style,
and then you can choose her blanket fabric.
Priscilla offers a selection
of soft and squishy Minky fabrics,
in addition to her organic ones.
I allowed my little guys to pick out which colors
they thought Pixie would want.
(peach skin, sleepy eyes, pumpkin loopy hair,
and an organic mulberry velour blanket)
You even get to choose a name
to be embroidered on a small tag
on your Swaddle Baby!
We chose "Pixie", so everyone
would know this was HER baby:)
The boys got such a kick out of "making"
a gift for their sister,
and loved how excited Pixie was
to open our Swaddle Babies box when it arrived.
